ProStart is seeking experienced hard rock miners interested in joining our mining operations team. The miner will directly contribute to the safe operation, maintenance, and general labor support of mining equipment for all underground operations. This position requires experience as a multi-skilled equipment operator in a mining environment. Strict safety standards must always be followed.
DEVELOPMENT MINERS - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years in Face Advance; Bolting, Drilling, Loading and Blasting, Mucking.
- Experience with the following equipment: DD420, DD311, DD422i, DL411, DL311, LH517, LH514, TH540, Normet Blasting Unit
- Experience in Jumbo bolting is highly desirable.
PRODUCTION & IN_FILL DRILLERS - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years of Production or In-fill Drilling.
- Experience with the following equipment: DU411, Cubex, Oldenburg
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Current MSHA Underground Certification (5000-23) Metal/Non-metal - REQUIRED.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in confined spaces.
- Ability to travel to the mine site
- Flexibility to work shifts that include nights and weekends.
- Use/Operate/Instruct the proper use of the PPE required for the job.
- Must be able to perform heavy work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, which may include, but is not limited to, lifting, carrying, pulling/pushing, climbing, shoveling, walking, or prying. *The Physical demands of the job are subject to change based on industry demands.
